Dear Family
 
My name is Emma, and I am a cheerful 19 year old student looking to be part of your family for the summer. I love being with children, playing the piano and flute, and being outdoors, especially cycling, walking and just generally being active.
 
I have two sisters, Andrea (14) and Eva (10). I have been looking after Eva for the last few years which involved picking her up after school, making her dinner, helping her with homework etc. I have also done the same for a friend of Eva’s and my cousin during this period. Eva and I especially have a very close sisterly relationship so I've often taken her out on the train to various places which we've both enjoyed. We also have a little dog called Dexter, who is adorable!
 
At home I've been cooking meals for the family, ironing and washing regularly for as long as I can remember, and since I've been at university I've continued to do all this properly for myself. Also at home I babysat regularly for two neighbours since I was about 15 - they both have two boys, the youngest being about 2 or 3 when I first started looking after him and the oldest being 13 when I stopped.
 
Since I've been at University I've missed being with children more than I thought I would, which is why I've decided to do this for the summer months. The reason I've chosen to move out of my area is because I enjoy different experiences and would like to get to know a new place and meet new people.
